$8,000 Tax Credit

If you're a first-time home buyer, you could be eligible for a tax credit of up to $8,000, the largest home-buyer incentive the government has ever offered*. This is a true tax credit, which means you don't have to pay it back, as long as you stay in your home for at least 3 years.

Your home must be purchased on or after January 1, 2009 and before December 1, 2009 to take advantage.
